I came to making art because it gives me a language that I do not have words for. I am interested in the exploration of constancy and change in our being – and in all nature - and the construction of this form - in layers and spaces – allows the sculpture to remain constant but to change as the viewer moves around it.
I made the first version of this work in 2014, and have played with different materials and sizes. This one is made of copper on a mirror polished plate with brushed stainless steel surround.
