Since 2011 I have made work in ‘negative’ form, removing the shapes from the ‘slices’ of the form so that what you see is not actually there but is the remains of something that was there.

In 2019 I found a way – working with Instrument Glasses in Enfield – to create ONE in this way. The addition of the light panel sufficiently combats the reflection of the glass to allow the perception of the form which shows on each of the surfaces of the box in very different ways so that the overall form is constant but always changing.
