I made Fallow deer to coincide with the 2018 Garsington Opera season which is housed at Wormsley Park in Buckinghamshire. Apart from many other beautiful things, the estate is renowned for its herd of deer. I collaborated with a taxidermist to give me an understanding of the exact form of this elegant animal, and using my process of scanning and slicing to make this one off sculpture in copper; stainless steel and Portland stone. The antlers are made in resin and hand painted.

With thanks to Sam McArthur of Ramsbury Stone; Central Scanning, and Accujet
