I am interested in the essence of our being, and in whether we can reveal more of our essence by removing much of what we associate with our identity.

In this case I have taken all colour away, and have limited the description of each individual to about 12 lines. This is a lovely family from Cambridgeshire who sat patiently while I captured something of their form. Interestingly, to anyone who knows them, this is unmistakably them – both as individuals and as a family unit.
